A No-Friction Bicycle Dynamo
Warning: The magnets in this kit are every strong, please handle with care.
Tools. (You also need some super-glue and bath-room sealant)
11 is a ball magnet.
12 are 2 block magnets on bike's wheel.
4 is a already made 5000 turns coil.
13 are 4 white front LEDs.
14 are 3 back red LEDs.
15 is a 1N4248 diode (protect the white LEDs).
16 is a 5.1V zener diode.
Now, start!
The generator unit is made already.
Before insert each white LEDs on plastic parts, add little "bathroom silicon sealant" on legs of the LED (as pictue shown). The sealant will make the front lights waterproof. Also make sure (+) and (-) legs of the LEDs are fited into the plastic part.
Make sure 4 LEDs are fixed on the plastic part tightly.
Soldering a Zener diode (16) on legs of LEDs and all wires (please notice the colour of wires) as this picture shown. (According to the Circuit)
Cover back of the front lights part. Then twist blue and green wire together, twist red and yellow wire together at other end of the wire.
Insert 3 red LEDs on plastic board (Do not forget to add some silicon sealant before insert).
Soldering a diode (15) and all legs of red LEDs together, make sure they are fixed on the board tightly.
Soldering all wires together according to the circuit. Test it before close the box.
Whole system.
Stick silicon anti-slip mats on two plastic parts by drops of Super-glue (as this picture shown).
Now a No-friction bicycle dynamo (P1) is ready to be installed onto a bicycle!
